WebSep 28, 2003 · I would recommend a Holly 300-36 Contender high rise 1 3/4" its like the old Z28 design. Its good from idle to 7200 RPM and has the same airflow as a single plane. I run this type all the time on my 406 motors that I build. Best of both worlds. The Weiand Stealth is the next one on the list, from idle to 6,800 RPM.
