WebAug 4, 2011 · The 33 is AWESOME and really shines. To me it's brighter than the 17, jangles more, has tons of volume to spare and is super pedal friendly! I went with JJEL84's, EH 12AX7A's and a NOS rectifier from Mike at KCANOSTUBES. It is great with a good reverb pedal as well! This is one of the few built in this Color. 2x12 speakers, verb/trem to die for, volume, tone and gain knobs for excellent tone variances. Just completely retubed (rectifier included) It has been protected by it the entire time I have had.
